Events & Exhibitions

Since its founding in 2009, Calvert 22 Space, located in Shoreditch in East London, hosted 53 groundbreaking exhibitions with artists including Sanja Iveković, Alexander Brodsky, and Neue Slowenische Kunst. It also held hundreds of events, from educational programmes and film screenings to portfolio reviews and book launches. In 2016, the space broadened its programme to include seasons, the most popular of which included Red Africa, and Power and architecture. Calvert 22 Space closed at the start of 2019, however the foundation continues to put on exhibitions and events in London and across the world.
