Get a behind-the-scenes look into Russia’s underground music scene with The Wire‘s editor Derek Walmsley, who will be sitting down with Ivan Zoloto from Love Cult before their performance at Shoreditch Church on Friday 6 May.

Ivan will reveal what is took to set up Full of Nothing, his independent record label whose DIY cassettes often sell out within days, founded in 2009 by him and Anya Kuts, and will present some of their experimental sounds and videos.

You’ll also have the opportunity to purchase Full of Nothing’s collection of posters and cassette tapes and £5 tickets to their live performance at Shoreditch Church.

Love Cult will be performing on Friday 6 May at Shoreditch Church as part of Eastern Promises, The Calvert Journal‘s series of music events dedicated to showcasing emerging music talents from the new east.
