Calvert 22 Gallery’s research strands form a core part of the gallery programme. Envisaged as an open-ended series of events, presentations and meetings, they are a discursive platform aimed at extending the gallery's audiences and artistic community both in London and abroad.

Events in the current research strand, Socialist Friendship, take place quarterly, enriching the core exhibition programme and allowing for more in-depth and long-standing engagement.
