Calvert 22 Foundation’s core programme of exhibitions is complimented by ongoing pulse and satellite programmes aimed at extending the gallery's audiences and artistic community both in London and abroad.
The pulse programme complements the core programme through two key initiatives: the Archive as Strategy and Socialist Friendship research strands. These strands take place on a regular and on-going basis, thus acting as the ‘pulse’ of the organisation’s artistic activities and enriching the core seasons by allowing for a more in-depth and long-standing engagement.
The satellite programme consists of off-site activities in which programming is taken beyond the gallery’s walls, to reach further audiences. In 2012 this included taking part in the Liverpool Biennial and an on ongoing art presentation programme to leading UK institutions.
